How to Make Your Own Healthy Dog Food

You have all seen the commercials for that organic dog food advertising all the terrible things that are put into regular dog food. You know, like the meat byproducts, corn filler and general trash that you would not want your do to eat.
The problem is, those organic dog foods are SO expensive!

Did you know that it is really much cheaper to make your own healthy dog food?

It is, but it does involve a bit more effort than buying a bag of food at the store. It is kind of like cooking for your dog as well. The ideal dog food should have a ratio of 40 percent meat to 30 percent vegetable and 30 percent starch.

The meat is the most important part because dogs are carnivores by nature, they need the meat and love it. The starch is just a way to get their tummies full. The vegetables are optional, some people swear on forcing dogs to eat vegetables, but the honest truth is that the dogs' digestive tract is made for meat. Vegetables usually just go through as roughage. If you really want to feed your dog fruits and vegetables, make sure they are in a predigested mash first. This will make it so they actually get a little nutrients from them.

Meat Medley Dog Food
2 lbs hamburger
1 cup liver
1 boiled potato
2 cups of oats
¼ cup blueberries
½ cup brown rice
Cook your brown rice and potatoes. You can also boil your hamburger and liver. Frying the hamburger causes a lot of excess grease. This grease, while tasty to dogs, can cause pancreatitis. Dogs can also eat the meat raw, again they have a short digestive system with strong stomach acids that allows them to eat raw meat without worry of bacteria. However, I still recommend you cook it.

After you have cooked the meat, potatoes and rice. Mush the blueberries into a fine paste and throw all the ingredients into a food processor. Blend it up and mold it into a ball. You can serve this over store bought dog food or by itself. If your dog is unsure about it, pour some chicken stock over it and mix it in with their usual dog food. Just make sure to never let it sit more than a week, it will go bad.

If you want to make it a few weeks ahead, throw it in the freezer, it will be fine until thawed.

Dog Loaf
3 cups ground meat (turkey, chicken, beef, buffalo, ect. Just do not mix meats)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup oats
3/4 cups grated vegetables (broccoli, sweet potato, carrots)
Mix all the ingredients by hand as if making a meat loaf and press into loaf pan or just shape into a loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Refriderate and serve in slices or cut into slices and freeze.

Meat Jerky Dog Treats
These are just a little bonus. Organic dog treats are super expensive for the small amount you get, but these are a good alternative

Jerky Dog Treats

a few pieces of meat cut into long strips (chicken breast or beef roast work best)
Remove excess fat from meat using a paring knife, it messes with the jerky and its not particularly good for dogs. Lay strips on a baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees for two hours. Check the meat before removing, it should be hard and not squishy.

Let cool and serve. Store in an air tight baggy for no more than two weeks.

If you marinate with soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, these also make lovely people treats, but do not serve the marinated treats to dogs, the salt is bad for them.

The treats make a nice substitute to raw hide bones because they keep your dog busy for quite awhile.

Food Dogs Should Not Eat
You can put just about anything in your dog food, except these. When making your own dog food recipe, be sure to leave these out of your food. Also, monitor your dog closely after serving a new recipe because not all human food is good for dogs. Some dogs may even be allergic to some things people tell you to put in dog food.

Alcohol
This is obvious. It is poison to humans and it is poison to dogs. So no letting have old Spike have a sip of your beer.

Chocolate
Chocolate contains a stimulant called Theobromine that messes with the dogs cardiovascular and nervous systems.  Dogs should never have chocolate, it results in death. It is too bad because dogs love the taste of it.

Avocados
It may be a super food for people, but for dogs it contains persin which is highly toxic to most animals. It gives dogs terrible tummy aches.

High Fat Meats
As i said, fat from meats gives dogs pancreatitis. This is in particular from turkey skin, ham fat, and bacon. Avoid giving these things to your dog in mass or on a regular basis.

Grapes and Raisins
These can give a dog kidney damage. Death can come from high dosage, however most dogs dislike grapes anyway.

Dairy Products
It may be tempting to slather your dog food in cheese to make your dog happy, but dairy products are bad for dogs. They cannot digest them well because of the lactose. Almost half of dogs are lactose intolerant as well. So always monitor your dog after giving them a bit og cheese. Dairy products also are the leading cause of smelly dog farts.

Onions and Garlic
Onions and garlic contain thiosulphate which can lead to the destruction of red blood cells in dogs.

Potato sprouts or Unripe Potatoes
Potatoes make a good filler for dog food, but always make sure they are ripe first. Also, do not use potato skins in dog food. Unripe potatoes contain solanine glycosides which can cause a multitude of health problems including vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and cardiac arrest.

Salt
Too much salt is not good for humans and too much salt is not good for dogs.

4 Foods That Prevent Acne

Whilst acne is a condition which is commonly associated with teenagers, it can appear at any stage of our lives and unfortunately it frequently does. Contrary to popular belief, acne isn't caused by having dirty skin or not cleansing your face enough – acne sufferers probably clean their face more often than the lucky people who don’t have to put up with this awful condition. Instead, acne and blackheads are often caused by other factors such as hormones, stress, amount of sleep and even what you eat.

This article discusses the last factor – what you eat – and talks about some food items that may help prevent acne. It is worth bearing in mind that simply eating these foods will not completely eliminate the darn spots, but if you are not already eating a healthy diet, including foods that fight acne in your meals should greatly help in preventing acne from developing. Without further ado, let's jump in to the 10 foods that prevent acne.

#1 Fatty fish for clear skin
No, I am not referring to a fish that eats too much. Fatty fish or oily fish are fish such as salmon, sardines, anchovies, and mackerel that contain high amounts of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are known for reducing inflammation and research suggests that it may help with acne and other skin conditions.

When I learnt about the benefits of having oily fish in my diet, I could not help but wonder if that’s the reason Japanese women have such beautiful skin. The Japanese have a diet that contains plenty of seafood and fish (think sashimi and sushi) and that might be why you hardly see any Japanese women with an acne problem.

#2 Oysters and shellfish to prevent acne
Oysters and shellfish contain large amounts of the trace mineral zinc. Zinc is an important trace mineral required by the human body. There is some evidence to suggest that a lack of zinc may play a part in causing acne. Eating just six medium-sized oysters a day can allow you to meet the daily requirement for zinc. Not only that, oysters and shellfish are also another source of omega-3 fatty acids so they are definitely good additions to a diet to for acne prevention.

#3 Sesame seeds for better skin
Besides oysters and shellfish, seasame seeds are also a good source of zinc. You can easily sprinkle sesame seeds on almost any other food. Smoothies, salads, and even main dishes can all have a little sesame added to it without affecting its flavor (or even enhancing it!) It is so easy to include this acne preventing food in your diet there's no reason not to do it.

Of course, this doesn't give you an excuse to chomp on a burger because there are sesame seeds on it.

#4 Yogurt for a glowing complexion
Yogurt is a fermented dairy product that contains plenty of probiotics or good bacteria. Although dairy has been linked to acne, fermented dairy products do not cause acne like their non-fermented counterparts. Yogurt and other fermented food such as kefir are a good source of probiotics which can improve gut health and consequently help fight against acne.

It is important, however, to get yogurt that contains live cultures. Some manufacturers produce yogurt that is pasteurized, meaning they heat it up to a high temperature, killing all the bacteria (good or bad) in it. These pasteurized yogurt do not contain the beneficial bacteria that can help with acne.

You will also want unsweetened yogurt, preferably plain ones because fruit yogurts usually come with a lot of added sugar.

Besides eating the yogurt, you could also apply it as a cream to your face. Although it sounds like an untested home remedy for acne, applying yogurt to your face may actually be a scientifically sound method of acne prevention. Although yogurt itself was not used, applying a type of bacteria found in yogurts as a cream for seven days has been suggested by researchers to be useful for acne.

Now, don't go buying skin care products that claim to have yogurt in them -- the bacteria in such products are probably dead and useless. Using a home-made yogurt mask might be effective though.

Yogurt is one of the best foods to prevent acne. Eating it with lots of fresh fruit like in the photo above would be even better. Yogurt can also be used as a home-made facial mask.

Getting to the Bottom of it: Can you Snore and Dream at the Same Time?

The fact that you cannot snore and dream is a well circulated fact about sleeping on the internet. However, there are also a large amount of skeptics that are die hard believers that you can snore and dream at the same time. They provide some extremely valid points, too. However, both sides are at a disadvantage. There is no official source that states whether you can or cannot snore and dream at the same time.

If there is a source, it is buried deep in some dusty medical journal in some library somewhere. The study has probably been done at some point, but the conclusive results have never made it to the internet. Modern scientists and researchers ignore the subject, most likely because they have better things to do. I mean, what is answering one random non-life threatening question versus finding a cure for things like sleep apnea or waking paralysis?

So, while I cannot give you a definitive answer, I will at least give you two very valid trains of thought on the subject so you can pick your side in this age old debate.

Skeptics Theory
The skeptics believe that snoring and dreaming are two separate entities.

Snoring happens when the muscles of the mouth and throat relax. This relaxation causes the soft palate of throat to sag in relaxation. Since we still intake air, the air passing through the airway causes the narrowed airway to vibrate. This is how the sound of snoring is made.[2] The narrower your airway, the louder your snoring is. This can be a sign of sleep apnea, however. So if you are disturbing others when you sleep because of your snoring, you may want to consult a doctor.

Dreaming is a response from the brain. There is no one part of the brain that contributes to dreams, it is a team effort on that front. While you can dream all through the night, the sleep stage where most dreams occur is in REM sleep. This sleep stage is courtesy of the electrochemical pulses of the caused by the brain stem. Surprisingly, up until 2004, scientists did not know what part of the brain was responsible for the imagery and scenery in dreams.  In 2004, when a stroke victims lost her dreams due to brain damage, two Swiss doctors theorized that the imagery comes from a dense area of gray matter in the back of the brain.[1]

This is essentially why skeptics believe dreams and snoring to be unrelated. One is a reaction to the bodies relaxation and need to breath, the other is some random electrochemical waves firing around in the brain.

Why We Cannot Snore and Dream at the Same Time
The theory for why we cannot snore and dream at the same time has a lot to do with the bodies reaction to REM sleep. In the first stages of sleep, the body relaxes, breathing slows, and heart rate slows. The relaxation of the body, as mentioned previously, leads to snoring. However, when you enter REM sleep you heart rate increases, but you breathing becomes even shallower. [3]Snoring is a result of air passing through the airway and causing vibration and sound. The more air you try to intake, the more intense the vibrations become, thus the louder snoring becomes. So in theory, with your breathing becoming more shallow, the less air your body is taking it. So as a result, it should not cause snoring.

This, I believe, is the basis for why people believe you cannot snore and dream at the same time. This theory suggests that you are less likely to snore while dreaming and not that you cannot snore while dreaming.

However, as I mentioned earlier, there is still no conclusive results on the subject. I have read extensively on both the topics of snoring and dreaming to no avail. Though if you readers out there know of a scientific study that proves it, I would love to hear about it!

So now that you have heard both sides of the story, which do you believe?

Easy and Healthy Snack Ideas

When our family first began this journey to allergy free eating, I frequently found myself at a loss when it came to quick and easy snacks. I committed myself to following the same dietary restrictions as my daughter Amy and there were some days where I just seemed to be starving because I couldn’t think of anything easy to eat and I had fed the last of the leftovers to Amy. It seemed like everything we could eat required so much preparation and there wasn’t a single packaged food we could turn to.

We were already more or less into “clean eating” so giving up packaged foods wasn’t really that hard to deal with. The biggest challenge was probably giving up dairy and eggs. Not that we were big milk drinkers but we did eat a lot of yogurt and some cheese. Yogurt was quick, easy and filling and cheese and eggs were quick and easy protein alternatives. One of the things that I do on a regular basis is to cook double what I need for dinner so that we have left-overs to eat for breakfast or lunch the next day.

Over time, we’ve come up with a few favorite snacks. Some of them are free of all the major allergens while others are not. You can choose to try the ones that suit you.

Veggies and hummus (I make a yummy hummus with butter beans instead of chickpeas. This makes a much creamier dip).
Non-wheat toast spread with a good quality honey, topped with thinly sliced apples and sprinkled with cinnamon
Rice cakes spread with almond butter and thinly sliced apples
Any of the breads, muffins, biscuits or scones featured in The Healthy Gluten Free Life by Tammy Credicott

Smoothies made with frozen fruit chunks and coconut milk. Try freezing them in popsicles molds for a delicious summer treat.
Left-over chicken drumsticks
Oven-baked yam fries (buy them precut in the fresh produce section or buy frozen, organic yam fries).
Lentil chips served with salsa, guacamole or bean dip
Seaweed snacks – just be sure that they aren’t loaded with oil and salt.
Pumpkin seeds
Canned tuna or salmon mixed with diced onions and apples
Allergen free cereal topped with coconut milk
Handful of almonds or cashews
Diced apples added to plain, organic yogurt, sprinkled with cinnamon
Raw cashew butter spread on celery sticks
Sulfite free dried fruit
Single-serving organic apple sauce or other fruit snacks
The important thing is to come up with some easy snack ideas before you are hungry. Once you are starving you won’t be able to think of those healthy snacks and you’ll be more likely to reach for processed, chemical laden, allergy causing foods.

Top 5 Tips For How To Prepare For A Long Airplane Flight

So you've booked the trip of a lifetime - your bags are packed, itinerary is in hand, and the only thing standing between you and a week of bliss is an 10 hour plane ride.  For a number of travelers, this ominous flight is almost enough to cancel the trip altogether.  While it is true that sitting in the same seat for an extended period may not be the most exciting thing in the world, there are certainly things that you can do to make it more enjoyable.

Below are a few tips we'd recommend you take into account while getting ready for your travels!

Dress as comfortable as possible
You'd be amazed at the number of people who show up for extended flights in fancy dresses and 6 inch heels or 3 piece suits.  While you may not want to look like a bum at the airport, a large percentage of your flight experience is going to depend on your comfort level.

Remember, you're going to be sitting in the same space for longer than most of us sleep every night.  While we wouldn't suggest that you show up to the airport in your pajamas, your clothes honestly shouldn't be too far off from a comfort perspective.  A polo and jeans combination, t-shirt and shorts, or comfy dress and flip flops should be just what you need to get through the trip.

Don't forget to pack extra clothes items like a sweatshirt in case you get cold after a few hours in the air.  Microfiber socks will also suffice for shoes in-flight and you don't want to be having shoes on for that length of time, but you don't want to be barefoot either.

Don't forget to bring the entertainment
The question that a lot of people ask themselves is what the heck are they going to do the whole time they're on the flight?!  While the airline may provide some options, a lot of this is going to depend entirely on you.  8-10 hours is a ton of time - enough to watch 4 movies, read multiple books, or get a full-night's sleep.  However it's unlikely that you're going to do just one of these the entire time while on the flight.

We'd recommend packing enough items to give you options on what to do during the flight, but not so many that you're lugging around a bag full of things you're never going to touch regardless of how much time you have.

While we can't tell you the exact items that you should bring, here are some of the top suggestions we'd have

Ipad with a variety of movies and TV shows downloaded
Iphone/Ipod with your music
Book(s) to read - a Kindle is a great option here as it's lighter than a regular book and lets you bring multiple books at the same time
Card or dice game to play by yourself or with your travel mate.
Journal to write down ideas, yearly goals, or record your thoughts going into your

Get ready to move around
If you're a first-timer to long flights, it is important that you know to move around at least a couple times during the flight.  Studies have shown that moving around could prevent blood clotting, which despite its minimal chance of occurring, could have deadly consequences.

Beyond this, getting the blood flowing every few hours will help you feel more comfortable in-flight and prevent aches and numbness that may occur by sitting in the same spot for hours on end.

Take advantage of in-flight activities
Most airlines provide some sort of in-flight entertainment during their trips, and depending on the carrier this may be even better than the entertainment you brought for yourself!  Movies and music are pretty standard offerings for airlines, but some even offer trivia games during the flight where you compete against others on board!

Before you book your flight, it may be worth it to investigate what your airline offers its guests.  Some of the best airlines even offer drinks (alcohol) free of charge.

Don't underestimate the extras
There are plenty of extra items that you can bring on your flight that may seem inconsequential by themselves, but can be the difference between an enjoyable trip or a miserable experience.

To start, bringing a travel pillow on your flight might be the best decision you make if you're planning on grabbing a few zz's in-flight.

You could also bring an eye mask to assist in your sleep.

Other items that you should strongly consider bringing include:
Snacks such as granola bars in case the food served is not as appealing as you'd like.  There's nothing worse than having to choose between going hungry for half of your day or eating a horrible airplane meal.
Tylenol or aspirin for a headache
Pepto Bismol for obvious reasons
Gum to chew during takeoff and landing to cut down on the pressure you feel in your ears
Headphones to use with the airplanes entertainment system that are either more comfortable than what they offer or in case the airline charges a fee to use their own headphones

Remember, the purpose of taking the flight in the first place is to get you to a location that would take days or weeks by any other travel method.  While long flights may not be ideal, the least you can do is set yourself up to enjoy it as much as possible given the circumstances.  If you do as much research as you can on airlines prior to flying to see which ones offer the best experience and follow some of these tips above, you'll make it through no problem.  Good luck and have a safe flight!

Self Expression: The Foundation Of Freedom

“I want freedom for the full expression of my personality.”
-Mahatma Gandhi.
From the moment we are born our ultimate goal in life is the same as that of every other human being that has ever lived. That goal is to express ourselves.

This can easily be observed in young children. Simply stack a pile of blocks and what do they do? Knock them down of course, and then look to see who was watching! Even the instant we are born we are expressing ourselves. We come out crying,"Hello world hear what I have to say!" If you have ever sat and watched a child you have seen the art of self expression in its truest form. No self conscious decisions, no trying to fit in, no anxieties about doing or saying the "wrong" things. They simply think and immediately act out every thought that enters their uncorrupted minds.

As we mature the influence of society starts to take its effect. Parents constantly telling you no, other children laughing at you for being unique, or simply because you were born different in some way. Whatever the case may be we are all influenced into suppressing the articulation of our true self just so we can fit in with the rest of society.

Not This Guy

"Man discovers real freedom the moment he loses concern over what impression he is making."-Bruce Lee
Many people today still have a problem expressing who they truly are. This leads to random acts of violence or chronic depression when they feel they no longer have a voice or "place" in society. How many times have you not bought or worn a piece of clothing that you liked deep down but knew that it wasn't socially acceptable? Or simply changed the way you speak or hold back what you want to say, even if you wanted to be heard, just to fit in and not potentially offend someone that might be listening?

How about your view of others expressing themselves? How many times have you judged someone else simply by the music they listen to or the clothes they wear? Maybe their accent or skin color was different and made you feel uncomfortable. But doesn't everyone have a given right to simply be who they are? Love who they want to love, wear what they like to wear and express their personality to the fullest without the fear of being ridiculed or socially rejected?

We often spend most of our lives trying to fit in but what we really want is to show the world who we are.
True happiness cannot be obtained without unrestrained self expression. An easy way to test this is to imagine being told exactly what clothes you could wear, what music you had to listen to, how to act and what you could or couldn't say? You would have no identity and certainly wouldn't be very happy. The clothes we wear, the things we say, sports, art and music are all examples of ways we can express ourselves. Even silence itself is a way of declaring that you don't wish to speak!

“Unexpressed emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.”-Sigmund Freud

There was a time when the suppression of self expression was somewhat beneficial to society.

During this time, the time of the Industrial revolution and long before, it was often beneficial to have less diversity, less individuality. If everyone was "alike" and shared the same views they would be closer as a community and therefore more productive. Diversity and self-expression would ultimately create an uncomfortable environment for many and ultimately inhibit the growth of the industry. There was no place or need for expressing oneself at the time. No advantages to being outspoken and unique.

Times have changed.

Thankfully, that time has passed and we are now living in an age were expressing ourselves is not only acceptable but often encouraged. We are now living in the information age, an age of innovation and ideas, no longer forced to be financial slaves to the oppressive systems our governments had created. We exist in a most exciting time where our ideas, the things that make each and everyone of us unique and invaluable, allow us to become financially free.

Knowledge based societies cannot function effectively without highly-educated workers, who inevitably become articulate and accustomed to thinking for themselves. Furthermore, rising levels of economic security bring a growing emphasis on self-expression values that give high priority to free choice.

In this age of opportunity we can now support ourselves and those we love simply by being who we are and sharing our ideas with the world! There has never been a time where it has been so easy to make a living sharing your ideas with the world.

I present you with opportunity
The opportunity of enlightenment and true freedom. To break free of the constraints society has placed upon you and find out who you really are. Accept this challenge to be yourself, to be unique and different. Make the choice to be yourself before the choice is no longer yours...

"We are so accustomed to disguise ourselves to others that in the end we become disguised to ourselves." -François Duc de La Rochefoucauld

Wifi Security - How to Secure Your Router

What is WiFi?

WiFi is a technology that is widely in use today, It uses high frequency signals to send data between computers and allow wireless internet access. Most people use WiFi everyday without thinking about the security implications of sending sensitive information over radio waves.

Tip: Anything that's being transmitted can be intercepted!

Types of wireless security:

First I will start with NO security, There are still a lot of people out there who use whats called an Open network. This means there is absolutely no encryption and anyone can connect to the network. This is very dangerous!

The next type that is most common is WEP. There are a lot of problems with this standard and it's incredibly easy to crack the encryption and connect. If you use WEP, You should think about switching to the next type of security im going to talk about!

WPA/WPA2

This is by far the best method of securing your network. Crackers will need a vast collection of word lists to get the pre shared key. While it is the most secure method you can use today, You should try to use a complex password that's not found in the dictionary. I recommend a password of at least 20 alphanumeric characters.

So what are the dangers of using weak encryption?

If you are using an open connection the dangers are immense! All a Cracker would need to do is connect to your network and start sniffing the data. This means all of your passwords for Facebook, Your bank and everything else can be compromised without any effort whatsoever!

As for WEP, This can be easily broken with tools downloaded from the internet. Specifically Backtrack Linux, It has everything anyone could ever need. The Cracker could fire up a tool such as Gerix and in a matter of seconds have your wireless password. The rest is already detailed above.

WPA/WPA2 is your best bet, If you have a good password it will be very hard to get into the network from a wireless connection. I recommend AES encryption for use with WPA.

Tip: Make sure WPS is disabled in your router settings. If this feature is enabled, It doesn't really matter what type of security measures you use. A tool like Reaver or Cowpatty can exploit this feature and get the password.

Please educate all of your friends who use WiFi about these risks and help them to secure their network.

Stay Secure!

Weight Loss

Losing weight is an extremely challenging thing to do, especially with the increasingly misleading and confusing information you seen through the news and internet. This article will attempt to simplify the process of weight loss and show you specific exercises that you can do to help you on your way to becoming healthier.

Introduction

First of all, the science behind weight loss is actually very simple. There aren't magic weight loss pills that will cause you to lose 100 lbs in a few months, and there isn't any magic machines you see on infomercials that are going to make you lose weight fast while not changing your lifestyle habits or eating habits.

Weight loss is a committment that you have to dedicate time and a lot of energy to. Weight loss comes down to one thing: you need to consume fewer calories than you spend in a day. That means that you must not only alter what you eat and how much you eat, but you also have to increase how many calories you are spending in a day.

Buying a gym membership costs money, which will often help motivate people to continue going to the gym, simply because they are paying for it. However, it is also possible to get a great workout at home using resistance bands or buying your own dumbbells.

Reasons to Lose Weight

There are an unfathomable number of benefits that exercise and weight loss have on the body. I could list off 100 benefits and not even scratch the surface of its benefits.

When looking to ose weight and start exercising, it is important to make an effective workout routine and to stick to it. Set both short-term and long-term goals for yourself that are realistic and attainable. But most importantly, when you are setting the goal of weight loss, your goal should be to be healthier overall and not to just try to look good.

Although a healthy person is more attractive to the opposite sex than an unhealthy person, exercise and weight loss will also greatly reduce and in most cases, eliminated your risk for chronic disease such as cardiovascular disease.

How to Do It

Now that you have decided to lose weight, its time to get started. It is important to understand that although cardio exercises are great at creating a calorie deficit that leads to weight loss, you must also engage in resistance training to help gain muscle mass that will make it easier to keep the weight off, as well as increase your quality of life. I have many articles about various streight building exercises that you can check out on my profile.

Cardio

Most gyms have many cardio machiens that you can make use of to start burning calories and get active.

The Elliptical

The elliptical is a great machine for losing weight and burning calories, and will ease the impact on your joints compared to jogging.

The Row Machine

The row machine is another great machine that is used to burn calories. It requires force production from basically every muscle in the body and is great for toning the whole body.

Swimming

Swimming is an incredibly exhausting exercise that will give you amazing results in the calorie burning department. It requires the use of every joint and every muscle in the body to propel yourself through the water, meaning that it will incinerate calories.

Conclusion

Remember to check out my profile for various routines and explanation of resistance training exercises and be sure to incorporate them into your exercise routine for maximum fat loss results, plus the ability  to keep the weight off.

Hopefully this article has given you an idea about how to go about weight loss, and hopefully it motivated you a little to get out there and get active.
